ADECCO, on behalf of our client, is recruiting Full-Time Assembly workers in Thorndale, ON. Our client focuses on residential and commercial construction, renovation or expansion, offering roof trusses, wall panels, and floor systems. Our client offers a family-friendly work environment with a wide range of job responsibilities to suit many skillsets.

Assembler Job Responsibilities:

– Assemble building materials (wooden roof trusses, walls, and floors)



– Inserting and positioning materials, clamping, fitting parts and utilizing both hand and power tools



– Plan assembly process according to work orders, drawings and/or blueprints



– Ensure finished products meet quality assurance standards



– Meet production quotas both daily and weekly

Qualifications for the Assembler:

– Own transportation is required (not located on a bus route)



– Steel-toed work boots, framing hammer and safety glasses required



– Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools (nail guns, hammers, saws, tape measure, etc.)



– Flexibility to work both indoors and outdoors as needed



– Farm and construction experience is an asset



– Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
