Head of Social Creative : Diply

Position – Head of Social Creative

Go Viral Inc., o/a Diply, is seeking a creative executive and a conceptual thinker with a keen business sense who can formulate innovative concepts that support our client’s brands, entertainment properties, and content objectives for our London, Ontario operations. 


Responsibilities



·         Manages brand’s tone and voice on social platforms and sets direction for creative content which includes written and video content



·         Leads and inspires the creative team and helps with developing concepts, crafting story arcs, pre-production, physical production, cinematography, editing, graphics, post-production, and social media campaigns—someone who can do it all.



·         Providing original editorial direction with an understanding of data on virality and trends



·         Prepares and presents overall strategy for the development of content for the company



·         Provide on-going analysis of the written and video content for the identification of industry patterns and opportunities



·         Acts as a company representative on content by attending and speaking at different industry events



·         Communicate priorities and train employees in best practices on social content.



·         Focuses on driving content strategy and expanding distribution across channels as the brand scales globally.


Requirements



·         Minimum 10 years as a Creative Executive, recent experience must be in the social media space



·         Minimum 5 years growing Social Communities



·         Prior leadership experience with managing and motivating a team



·         Creativity, great sense of humour and grasp of what is going to work in the market place



·         Ability to generate new ideas and has the contacts to execute them



·         Creative with a strong commercial sense.



·         Able to digest a huge quantity of data and pull out important insights without losing touch with the creative and original



·         Ability to deliver truly innovative (and commercial) designs and concepts.


Position is full time, consisting of approximately forty (40) hours per week, at an annual salary of $85,000, exclusive of bonuses and incentives.
