Team Assistant - BBC - London
Role Responsibility
The Team Assistant will provide support to the production coordinators for the Channels and Branded Services Creative team – providing technical and administrative support, delivering transmission material and assisting with the operational running of the production team. The Team Assistant will also be required to assist the Creative team with more general duties, such as media management.
Accountabilities
To provide technical and administrative support to the Creative Team
To provide media management for the Creative Team
To provide technical and administrative support to the Creative Team
To assist the Production Co-ordinator and Creative Team in the delivery of projects
To produce tape logs for edits and audio session
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate must have:
Ability to use proficiently a range of software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ideally FCP and the aptitude to learn new software packages where required.
Experience of managing a tape and media library
Awareness of post production equipment and procedures
Familiarity with broadcast standard equipment and a knowledge of the tape, audio and disc formats regularly used in the production environment.
Knowledge of formats and reformatting digital files to new specifications with an understanding of broadcast formats
