Kennel Attendant (Part-time)

We are a new boarding facility looking for part-time on weekdays and weekends( including holidays). Hours may range from 10-20 hours/week to start out. As we grow this position will likely be a full-time position with more responsibility and hours to the right candidate. Cleanliness of the facility is extremely important so being willing to clean is a must!

Duties include:

– Walking dogs, monitoring dog play groups

– Feeding animals

– Cleaning runs

– Cleaning facility (floors, walls, garbages etc)

– Communicating with clients

– Checking in/out clients

– Maintaining records

– Payment transactions

– Closing/opening duties

– Answering phone calls, booking appointments

Ideal candidate should be:

– Mature, Outgoing and comfortable dealing with clients

– Flexible with hours (able to work weekdays/weekends/holidays)

– Detail oriented

– Able to multi-task

– Self-motivated and able to work well independently

– Able to communicate with clients, use computer and deal with payment transactions

– Physically able to handle very large dogs, walking and being on feet for long periods of time (rain or shine)

– Have a valid driver’s license and car (in case of any emergency with a pet that may require transportation to a veterinarian)
