A reliable and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk is required by this innovative local Company who require an additional pair of hands in their busy Accounts Department.
Some of your duties will include:
– Supporting the Account Manager with the management of the purchase ledger function
– Reconciling supplier statements and preparing weekly cheque and BACS payments
– Controlling and reconciling petty cash expenditure and processing staff expenses for payment
– Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and inputting invoices on the accounts system
The ideal candidate will have:
– The ability to work in a team environment and make a positive contribution to the teams overall success
– Someone with a high level of numeracy and accuracy and a good eye for detail
– Good communication skills are needed and the ability to form strong supplier relationships
– Good computer skills with experience using accounts systems such as Microsoft Office and Sage Line 50
