ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Olympic Park, Stratford, London, E20 1EJ.
This is a permanent full time role (working 42 hours per week) and on offer will be a salary of £24,024 per annum. This role will report into the Security Manager.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
The post holder will be part of a team who are responsible for the professional reception of guests, management of the security on the QEOP, event safety and ensuring the highest standard of customer service at all times.
To provide clear communication and operational professionalism in the fields of incident management and response within large public areas. This role is external based.
To manage QEOP incidents and deal with accordingly.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with applicable local agencies and services.
Provide timely and effective communication to the business on incidents that affect the running of the QEOP.
Responsible for the essential functions of liaison and assistance to visitors to the QEOP, react to incidents and issues within the common domain areas of the QEOP, responsible for health and safety and welfare of visitors and staff, to carry out patrol duties over wide areas.
Qualifications
Must hold valid Door Supervisor SIA licence
Complete knowledge of large public/open spaces and challenges they present
A decisive and assertive decision maker who can interpret situations to proceed with a prioritised action plan that achieves the results required
Able to adapt to an ever changing environment and be flexible with regards to job role
A valid UK driving licence with maximum of 6 points is desirable but not essential
For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
