Spa Front Desk Reception: Fayez Spa


We are currently looking for front desk staff.  Our Spa receptionist is more than a receptionist, it is an integral, valued member of our team. You are in many senses the face of the business, welcoming both returning and new clients creating a positive experience with each visit. You also play a vital role in coordinating the work flow of the rest of the staff. Beyond the typical front desk duties, there is opportunity to increase the scope of your role here.

You are a mature professional who has been working in an administrative and customer service role previously. You are also required to learn in great detail the services we offer. Initiative, organization, COMMON SENSE and “getting the job done” comes second nature to you. You are highly computer literate, friendly, outgoing and communicate well with others. Highest professional standards are reflected in your attention to detail and accuracy in general office procedures, displaying a passion for excellence in a work environment that requires a “Can do” multi tasking mind set. Job Description: RECEPTIONIST



 



  1. Purpose: The Receptionist is a mature individual with well-developed social skills responsible for the professional handling of all incoming calls, in a polite, courteous and attentive manner projecting a positive attitude in the face of criticism and providing superior customer service, to our valuable clients, with a “smile in the voice” at all times.



 


  1. Scope: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Receptionist thoroughly enjoys interpersonal contacts and is “our face to the customer” displaying a well-groomed, physical appearance and professional image, promoting the high standard of our quality spa.

 


  1. Responsibilities: Receives and processes all in-coming phone calls,deals with general inquiries, books, schedules and confirms appointments for new and existing clients,moves and cancels appointments,greets and welcomes clients, enjoys caring for and assisting clients in identifying their needs. Directs clients to appropriate service provider and service, promotes the full line of spa services,provides gift certificates,uses and adheres to opening and closing procedure, receives and processes payment for services rendered, manages check-in and check-out procedure, follows “Next Day checklist”, refunds payment, performs other clerical and all related functions and duties that will be identified from time to time

 


  1. Education:

          Successful completion of High School or equivalent life experience

6.  Working Conditions: Works in smoothly-run operation, in well-appointed, professional surroundings, peak periods require composure  to interact with peers and public, alike, in a busy, high-volume work environment, calling for a well organized and efficient response, may have to manage a number of projects at the same time, may be frequently interrupted to meet the needs and requests of peers and clients.


 
7.  Physical Demands: The job requires sitting for long hours using phone, computer and office equipment
