Technical Consultant – Data – Java/SQL
Central/West London
Up to £40,000 + car allowance + strong benefits + bonus

One our our biggest clients are looking for the next generation of talent to join their professional services division focused on technically driven consulting around software implementation, data and integration. This will suit a switched on candidate with SQL and programming skills looking at joining at the fast paced world of consulting in an environment where training and development are the number one priority.

THE ROLE

You will deliver technical solutions to some large clients across the UK, you will assist these businesses in the use of large scale products and how to fit these in to the customer solution, development of bespoke solutions and contributing to overall strategy. You will work within a fast paced environment and be involved with small, medium and large scale projects working cross teams and industry. You will be working with technical languages and as such will require the use of coding methods and best practices on a daily basis.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will likely have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to a degree level with a 2:1 or above within a numerate discipline (computer science, maths, statistics)


• Experience within a customer/client facing role where you have been delivering technical or analytical solutions


• Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work under pressure


• Experience and understanding of coding methods and best practices


• Strong ability in one of the following – SQL, Java, .Net, C#
