An experienced UX Designer is required by one of Europe’s leading Digital Media companies that operates some of the most widely known and highly successful online brands.


Their brands experience user’s sessions in tens of millions and as they expand their proposition and portfolio of brands the UX Designer will play an instrumental role in shaping the visual experience with the ultimate aim of increasing user engagement and ensuring market dominance.


You will be part of the Product Management team reporting to the User Experience Manager. This is an awesome opportunity to work on some new and exciting web and mobile-based experiences for a great brand. RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work closely with product managers, optimisation managers, visual designers and engineers to deliver experience design from concept through implementation, for a variety of strategic projects as well as on-going improvements.

  • Design user experiences focusing on workflows, user journeys, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas, prototypes, site-maps, test cases, or written specifications and user stories (cross platform)

  • Ensure user experience is translated into a strong, on brand visual look and feel with high quality usability

  • Ensure a data & insight driven, user-centred design approach

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


  • Natural attraction to experience design – comfortable with varied techniques from sketching through interactive prototyping

  • Experience in a variety of research methodologies such as usability testing, funnel analysis, and competitive research

  • Requirements analysis and management skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management, with a collaborative work style, strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience with various software development lifecycles / methods including agile approaches, as well as a working knowledge of Axure, Adobe CS/Sketch and Google apps

  • Experience incorporating SEO requirements into designs

  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Commercial experience at high volumes with a focus on conversion

  • You have a natural interest in experience design, focused on consumer needs and goals

  • A creative thinker, offering alternative design concepts and techniques to lead the development of outstanding user experience

  • Adaptable

  • Proactive, positive, with a sense of ownership

  • Great interpersonal skills
