Controller: Talentcor

Talentcor, London Office, is excited to be recruiting for an Controller for our manufacturing client located in Goderich, ON. This is a permanent position.

 Duties and Responsibilities:



 


  • Perform and oversee all aspects of Accounting and Finance in accordance with IFRS, the CRA, The Ministry of Finance and all other relevant governing bodies;


  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting and Banking;


  • Manage administration of temporary workforce;


  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll; (Hourly, Salary and U.S.);


  • Weekly submission of hours for temporary personnel;


  • Credit Manager – issue sales terms, evaluate sales terms, oversee and support collections


  • Verify, prepare and distribute Monthly Financial Statements;


  • Lead, Oversee, Ensure safe work practices at all times;


  • Other duties as assigned by management;

 
            Qualifications:

 


  • Accounting Designation preferred


  • 5 plus years managerial and supervisory experience


  • General knowledge of all laws governing accounting


  • 5 plus years experience in manufacturing preferred


  • Strong computer skills


  • Proven communication skills both verbal and written
