Architectural Drafter: Prime Management Group

Contract Glaziers Corp., an industry leader in building envelope solutions, is currently searching for a successful Architectural Drafter to join the team at their growing Windsor facility. As the Architectural Drafter, you will be responsible for the ownership and accountability for project review, drafting and design of building façade systems, tracking all change directives, as well as ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance in all drawings.

Working closely with the Engineering and Production teams, the Architectural Drafter will develop design solutions that meet architectural intent and design performance. This role will also complete comprehensive reviews of proposals, project launches, specifications and architectural/structural drawings as well as conduct research on systems, fabrication and installation instructions.

The Architectural Drafter will take ownership of the project life cycle as well as manage client and vendor relationships with excellent customer service delivery.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Architectural Technology • High level proficiency in AutoCAD- 2D and 3D, Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam • Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to keep stakeholders informed of changes • Team player with the ability to work effectively and efficiently on an independent basis • Very high level of attention to detail • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet project timelines without exception • Ability to travel up to 10% If you are excited to work with a highly respected employer of choice and would like to join the “family” please send a copy of your resume to Drafter.pmg@hiredesk.net
