DevOps Engineer - Liverpool Street - permanent
I am seeking an DevOps Engineer who is hungry for a change, a fresh challenge.
The successful candidate will be presented with a fantastic opportunity to work for a global financial trading organisation located near Liverpool Street.
£60,000 to £80,000 per annum + pension + compensation package + exceptional bonus programme.
Established just over 15 years ago, my client is searching for a new person to join their team. You would be responsible for monitoring, deploying and supporting quantitative electronic trading platforms and low-latency networks.
Essential skills required:
- Linux & Associated toolset
- Monitoring tools: Nagios or Greylog
- Programming languages: C++, Python, Pearl, Bash, Ruby or Java (one or more of).
- Networking knowledge: Cisco, Juniper
- Database knowledge: SQL or Oracle
- Deployment/ Continuous Integration tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet or Chef.
Desirable knowledge:
- RedHat Certified
- Knowledge of Wireshark
- CCNA or CNNP level
This role requires a broad range of technical skills, requiring someone to not only be very technically driven with the initiative to work smartly, but also team-focused, utilising excellent communication skills.
