Newport Street Gallery requires an experienced Facilities Supervisor. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Facilities Supervisor will play a key role in supervising the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the building, particularly the plant and equipment controlled by the Building Management System. As a hands on role, the Facilitates Supervisor will be required to carry out small repairs and maintenance jobs as part of their responsibilities.

The role will encompass liaising with other individual departments that operate within the building and external contractors, supervising, managing and providing risk assessments ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard, safely and in line with organisational procedures and best practice.

The ideal candidate will be multi skilled, with an electrical bias and have experience in working with Siemens Building Management Systems.

Experience of working in a high specification environment, Health and Safety relating to public spaces and knowledge of security and fire safety issues are essential. Gallery or Museum experience is desirable as well as a clean and current Driving, Forklift, Scissor and fall restraint system licenses.
