Marketing Specialist: Ultratec Special Effects

Ultratec Special Effects is a manufacturer and global distributor of theatrical atmospheric effects machinery and close proximate pyrotechnics.

We seek a Marketing Specialist to:



– maintain our existing websites, and design improvements to enhance impact of portable device content delivery, B to B e-commerce, and data collection, working with a contract website technician



– develop graphic designs used in advertising, e-blasts, product labeling, and trade show booth displays enhancing overall corporate image



– plan and execute consistent communication across multiple platforms including use of SwiftPage or equivalent



– design, create, and edit video content including static and moving objects and voice over



– prepare product descriptions for use in press releases, ad copy and website content including some limited technical writing



– work with management to develop and execute a marketing plan, making modifications and adjustments as necessary



– assess use of social media in our business and deploy as appropriate



– thrive working with a team managing various special projects and assignments

Job Requirements:



 – competent in digital, print design, and video production/editing



– competent in photography and image manipulation



– proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as MS Office



– proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)



– excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user/system interaction



– ability to solve problems creatively and effectively



– up to date with latest web trends, techniques and technologies



– capable of establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards



– able to execute through all visual design stages from concept to final completion



– able to produce rough art layouts and copy to illustrate design concepts (arrangement, size, type size/style, asthetics)



– strong time management, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Education & Experience:



– recent graduates in a relevant field with some work experience
