Senior Account Manager
Westminster
£55,000 – £60,000 per annum
NSL manages outsourced services in highly regulated environments used by the public and has over 70 clients (including Transport for London, DVLA, Westminster City Council and many NHS Trusts) and employ 5,200 people to fulfil services for these contracts. Success has led NSL to create three specialist sectors dedicated to core markets; Central Government, Local Government and Health.
Due to continued growth and contract success we are recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to be based in Westminster .
This is a newly created position, as a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a budget up to £10 million per annum. You will be leading and managing the Westminster account to ensure all sales, financial and non-financial objectives are achieved by the adoption of a continuous process of assessment and development of individual performance. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a trusted partnership with senior/ executive clients, to deliver value and satisfaction levels, creating the right conditions for profitable retention and growth.
Key elements of the role
- To actively contribute to the overall strategic approach of the business, ensuring that the company vision is realised
- To develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an agreed annual target
- To develop a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic Westminster management team and workforce
- To ensure the delivery of contractual requirements to the satisfaction of Clients
- Develop client account plan that identifies relevant clients needs, prioritises initiatives and establishes a clear action plan for success
- Managing the on-going contractual relationship and operational delivery of services to clients for an account (or group of accounts) to ensure SLAs, KPIs and EBITDAO budgets are met or exceeded
- Maintains tight operational control and ensures that operational teams (and any subcontractors) have a clear understanding of client requirements
- To monitor all aspects of the performance of the account, including staff turnover and absence, staff hours and other controllable costs, taking remedial action where appropriate
- Identifies innovative means of delivering current and new services
The ideal candidate
- Experience in an Operational/ Client focused role
- Proven track record in building key relationships with clients at a senior level
- Proven track record of growing key accounts and delivering improved profit and growth
- Strong people management skills with a proven track record of supporting team development and growth
- Experience working in Local Government ideal but not essential
