£23,140 p/a pro rata for 25.9 hours per week (3.5 days per week); equivalent to £33,057 p/a full time salary.

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our London team, overseeing services for refugee and migrant young people and families. We presently deliver three services within our London Refugee and Migrant Service and this role will work as a job share with another part time Service Manager to manage these services and team members delivering these. This role will manage our Family Voice project which provides advice, advocacy and support for refugee and migrant families facing destitution in London, with a focus on the London boroughs of Newham, Lewisham, Croydon and Hackney; an manage our Volunteer Coordinator who oversees volunteer support for our Refugee and Migrant Service activities.
JOB PURPOSE:
To manage multiple services and contracts in London that work with asylum seeker, refugee and migrant young people and families. To manage a team of practitioners to deliver the best they can for vulnerable young people and families. To maintain and develop effective working relationships with partner agencies to support delivery of these services to young people. To develop and contribute to funding strategies and growth plans for related services across these themes
You will have:
Experience of:
–
Working with vulnerable asylum seeking, refugee and migrant young people and/ or families.
–
Overseeing the delivery of activities delivered by volunteers.
–
Multi-agency working/ partnership working.
–
Managing multiple services.
–
Managing, leading and supporting individuals and teams who are dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
–
Service development and project management including managing budgets.
–
Improving and developing models of practice
–
Engaging, listening, sharing and using young people’s views to shape services that they receive
–
Monitoring and evaluating work and producing written reports of a high standard.
Qualifications:
- A relevant professional qualification such as Social Work Qualification / another qualification associated with the area of work, or equivalent experience.
