Maintenance and Safety Manager - Rosewood Hotels and Resorts - London

We are recruiting for a Maintenance & Safety Manager to join the team at Rosewood London.

As Maintenance & Safety Manager, you will work closely with the Hotel Maintenance Manager & Director of Engineering to oversee the day to day operations of our engineering team. You will assist with leading the engineering & maintenance team of 16 and ensure the optimum running of the department and development of their skills and knowledge.

The Maintenance & Safety Manager will hold Electrical / Mechanical qualifications preferably at NVQ level 4 and will drive the preventive plant maintenance of the property and work closely with external contractors and vendors. As the responsible person for Health & Safety, your role will lead the department managers to ensure H&S policies are implemented and departments can demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation.

This role will require an exceptional level of attention to detail, excellent written and spoken English and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CCTV systems, and fire safety systems. The role also requires extensive experience in managing Health and Safety and the person should ideally hold relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, Accident / Incident investigation, Security awareness.
