Post Production Technician: Autodata Solutions

Autodata Solutions is looking for 2 Post Production Technicians to join their London Imaging Team!

As a Post Production Technician you will correct color balance, set shadows, and clean up images at the professional photographic level within the digital /web environment. You should possess digital illustration skills, creative problem solving skills, and an acute eye for color, tonal levels, and graphic composition. These positions are 6 month contracts (full-time hours) and are considered entry-level with minimum wage compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Format images to remove distracting elements and provide cosmetic enhancements using Photoshop software



• Adjust, format, organize and archive all photography files to distribute to designers, printers and customers



• Collaborate with photographers, designers and Team Leads to facilitate daily workflow in post production department



• Maintain colour management and imaging standards to ensure high quality production of image in web or print



• Ensure media image data is kept accurate and up to date at all times



• Research and source information for interior colours of specific vehicles

Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in Media Design, Arts or Graphic Design an asset



• 1 – 2 years experience with image manipulation, colour management and colour theory in a post production environment



• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CS6 or later, Adobe Illustrator and other colour correction software 



• Comfortable with blending techniques such as the patch and clone tools, as well as proficiency using the pen tool



• Posses a keen eye for colour composition (must be able to detect subtle colour differences)



• Ability to set and manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
