Bilingual (French) Electrical/Controls Designer : Randstad Engineer

Our Client in the Brantford area is looking to add an Electrical Designer to their team

Responsibilities: 

• producing customer and shop drawing packages on CAD systems including wiring drawings, panel layouts,

• enclosure drawings, metalwork and PLC coding for product line to meet customer specifications as per sales file

• producing work order BOM on JDE

• producing and revising CAD drawing blocks to ensure that the drawings are accurate and current

• making changes to program as required by Autocad software changes and upgrades

• providing information to fellow designers, test technicians, field service technicians and sales personnel

• ensuring products will meet the customer’s expectations and specifications

• troubleshooting and testing

• creating test procedures and test forms

• field trouble shooting and testing

• providing commissioning and upgrading plan for all systems projects

• working with field service technicians to implement the project field service plan

Must have:



– Strong customer service/application/sales personality.



– Electrical CAD experience



– Power Distribution background



– PLC Design/Programming experience (some good exposure)
