Business Development Manager /Comms Services / National Role

We have a fantastic role for a Business Development Manager. A Sales focused position within the Business Partner Channel to drive sales of Communications Services.. The role will require the Business Development Manager to work with existing Ricoh Sales Teams, Ricoh Partners and also in generating new name business opportunities for solutions within the Communications Services Division, namely Videoconferencing, Interactive White Board Solutions, Projector Solutions and Unified Communications.
* You must be prepared to travel within a national territory, and whilst a field based role be prepared to spend time working from Ricoh UK offices
* Time Management and ability to work under pressure are mandatory in this role to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
* A Key Requirement in this role is tenacity and an aptitude to develop new business for Ricoh Interactive and Digital Solutions in existing Ricoh accounts and in non-Ricoh Accounts.
* Excellent people skills / influencing ability and effective in sustaining business relationships.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
2 – 3 Years Field Sales Experience within the AV Industry is required, preferably with experience selling Remote Collaboration Solutions, Video Conferencing Solutions and or Digital Signage Solutions. The candidate is likely to have come from an organization selling these solutions direct to end users, and worked either for a manufacturer or recognized AV and / or Videoconferencing Market Specialist.
A proven track record is required in terms of achieving sales targets is required, along with a relatively broad technical understanding / competence for the solutions he or she has sold to date.
Able to demonstrate that you have been integral in developing and closing key opportunities and have experience in presenting and ‘selling to’ senior management.
