* FULLTIME * Hog Barn Manager

Seeking a responsible and reliable individual to manage a large scale hog finishing barn.

We need someone who:

Is punctual

Is accountable and reliable

Is able to multi-task

Has an eye for detail

Is able to understand weight grids and scales

Is willing to learn new skills

Responsibilities include:

Feeding livestock (automated systems)

Inspecting animals daily for signs of illness/injury

Administering some treatment for ill/injured animals

Maintaining clear and up-to-date reports on livestock inventory

Maintaining the barns (cleaning, general repair)

Weighing, loading and unloading livestock

Reporting to supervisor regularly on status and immediately in the event of an emergency

Meet livestock weight criteria each month

Currently we need someone for FULL TIME hours. Experience is an asset but not necessary as training will be provided. Willing to pay $15 – $18 per hour and offer 40-48 hours per week. Bonuses will be paid for excellent performance.
