Graphic Designer: Clinical Research Dental
GRAPHIC DESIGNER (1 year maternity leave contract)
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Graphic Designer, is to design and produce marketing communications
pieces, for promotion of products, CE Events, and corporate image for Clinical Research Dental and Clinician’s Choice. Responsibilities include: collaborating with marketing and creative team to make recommendations on and develop concept, creation of design (in both digital and print platforms) for various publications, eblasts, sales collateral, advertisements, powerpoint presentations, website design and development, and others. The Graphic Designer is expected to work on several projects simultaneously; therefore time management and organizational skills are crucial.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Marketing Support: Creative Concept Development, Design and Production
1.1. Assist in the development of creative ideas and provide creative recommendations and concepts for marketing support material, including, but not limited to flyers, lecture sheets, advertisements, direct mailers, e–blasts, web banners, trade shows displays, etc.
1.2. Design and produce effective marketing tools from concept to final production. This includes sourcing appropriate suppliers and proof–reading for errors prior to execution.
1.3. Control costs and produce marketing pieces in a cost effective manner, being conscious of the potential return from each project
1.4. Work closely with the creative team to develop and implement successful web/e–commerce marketing strategies and ongoing optimization to maximize traffic, improve customer experience, drive online sales, and increase conversion.
1.5. Design, develop and implement CCI/CRD marketing communications for digital platforms, including web and email.
1.6. Provide ideas, feedback and recommendations for social media development and campaigns
1.7. Stay abreast of changes and innovations in the online marketing environment
1.8. Keep current with the dental industry (all product lines, competitor products, new technologies)
Management and Sales Support
2.1. Provide graphic assistance with a variety of presentations, including lectures, sales presentations, trade articles, and publications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree related to Graphic Design and/or Multi–media Design
• Minimum 2–4 years’ design experience in an in–house creative department or design firm
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with HTML & CSS is considered a plus
• Demonstrable graphic design and conceptual skills with a strong portfolio
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated “thinker” who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors
• Effective deadline management and project management skills
• The ability to work well and build co-operative relationships with people at all levels
• Demonstrates integrity and ethics; sets a great personal example
