Litigation and International Arbitration Associate - Gibson Dunn - London EC4Y

The London office of an international law firm is looking for a three to four year qualified Associate with litigation, employment litigation and international arbitration experience to join their Litigation team.

The successful candidate must have extensive experience in large, complex, commercial and employment litigation and arbitration matters arising from a full range of commercial activities across a wide variety of industry sectors. Experience dealing with multijurisdictional disputes and in running group litigation, or representative actions is required.

The successful candidate must be qualified to practice law in a common law jurisdiction. Outstanding academics are essential; a first class or 2:1 degree or overseas equivalent in law is required from a top university. Most recent experience must be at a firm with a market leading reputation for the relevant area of work, typically Magic Circle/Silver Circle, Top US competitors or equivalent experience in overseas systems.

This position will involve advising clients of the firm in relation to litigation matters, working as a team player within a team of Partners and Associates, being able to meet deadlines and working under pressure. The successful candidate will be flexible, ambitious and be willing to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.

Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience.
