The Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing a team of accounts, working with a number of New Zealand’s most prestigious corporate businesses that spread across a broad portfolio of sectors. This will be a highly visible role in the business and provide you with an excellent portfolio of clients to manage, working under some of Christchurch’s best Partners.

This is a great opportunity for an experience manager with experience in a smaller to medium sized business and is looking for the next step up in their career.

The Company

As one of the top tier CA firms this business is well known for providing their clients with a range of services including accounting and tax solutions, audit, corporate finance and consultancy. They enjoy working relationships with some of New Zealand’s most recognisable corporates and international businesses.

The Role

This role will include a range of duties including;

• Staff Management – providing technical advice and reviewing work


• Client Engagement – working with clients to ensure they receive excellent service and advice


• Running end to end accounting and tax assignments


• Completing any relevant project advisory work as required including business improvement and cost reduction solutions

Your Profile

• 5 – 8+ years’ experience as a Senior Accountant with some of that within a CA environment


• A strong technical understanding and the ability to peer review work and translate issues for clients


• Some experience in people / team management


• Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated client exposure


• Tertiary and Professionally qualified
