Millwright - Maintenance Technician: Express Employment Professionals

Our client, an automotive manufacturer in the London, Ontario area is looking to add a Millwright Mechanic to their team

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Conducting the preventative maintenance plans as scheduled for all production, welding, auxiliary equipment and building.



• All repair work to equipment and building as internally capable and practical.



• Assist in development for more efficient and meaningful PM plans.



• Assist in establishing and maintaining a parts crib and inventory.



• Trouble shoots equipment failures.



• Conduct annual inspections where applicable.



• Welding and fabricating for maintenance duties as well as production continuous improvement initiatives.



• Processing of maintenance documentation (i.e. Work orders and inspection documents).



• Previous experience with robots would be a tremendous asset (Motoman, Fanuc)



• Other duties as assigned by the Plant manager or delegate.

Initial Qualifications for Hire:

• Minimum of grade 12 education



• Certificate of Qualification – Millwright 433 A



• Must be able to work a three shift rotation



• Three to five years of maintenance experience within an automotive manufacturing environment



• Electrical/Electronic knowledge and experience with robots, robotics and PLC would be a strong asset
