Part-time Professors – Aviation Technology (AVI 201600172)
Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology

 
Location:  London
Employment Group:  Faculty
Hours of Work per Week:   Up to 6 hours per week. (Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)   
Closing Date:  Open Until Filled

 
Note:  These are part-time Professor positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting August 20, 2016.

 

The Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology is accepting resumes for Part-time Professors to teach across various programs in the School.

 
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success


  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills


  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners


  • Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required


  • Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred 

 SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Avionics, Maintenance, Electrical Theory


  • Minimum 5 years combined industry experience or digital and electrical experience or certifications may be considered for select program courses


  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License 

While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
