SCHOOL SUPPORT COUNSELLOR
PERMANENT and TEMPORARY POSITION(S)
The School Support Counsellor will provide school-based prevention and intervention services in elementary or secondary schools to address social/emotional and behavioural barriers to learning. Incumbents will be assigned to a caseload at the elementary, secondary, or alternative school level.
QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year university degree in social work, child studies or psychology. A minimum of one year experience providing counselling services to children or adolescents, and families.
RATE OF PAY: $59,553 – $81,341 (Permanent)
$41.70 per hour plus 4% vacation pay (Temporary, to extend no later than 2017 June 30)
START DATE: 2016 September 06
