Staffing Officer, Temporary Position: Thames Valley District School Board

STAFFING OFFICER
(Temporary Assignment)


 

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, this position is responsible for the coordination of functions relating to staffing through the knowledge of collective agreements, legislation and board policies. The incumbent will also be responsible for recruiting, interviewing and hiring internally and externally. This position may be required to participate in Mutual Concerns/Labour Management, Collective Bargaining and Job Evaluation meetings and general human resources functions.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of four (4) years post-secondary education (must include a degree) in human resources management, business or social sciences or equivalent, combined with a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
RATE OF PAY: $29.49 per hour + 4% vacation pay



 
DATE OF VACANCY:    To be determined. (Assignment anticipated to extend until 2016 December)
