Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Advisor, you will be providing safe and effective telephone advice, health assessment and information to the general public and healthcare professionals. You will help to support Health Advisors to use the NHS Pathways system to ensure that quality, evidence based health care is delivered to patients and that accurate and immediate records are kept, including assessment and advice given using NHS Pathways guidelines.


You will need to maintain competencies in line with the defined framework defined by the NHS Pathways license requirements and comply with all policies and regulations relating to clinical governance and patient confidentiality.


You will receive full NHS Pathways and system training to equip you for the role and you will be supported by Clinical Supervisors and the Lead Clinician. Skills & Experience

• Currently working as a Paramedic or as a Nurse in an acute setting such as A&E, Medical or Surgical Assessment units or similar environment

*Ensure every call is logged and updated regularly dealt with in the quickest, most effective and efficient way, ensuring where within your control a resolution is agreed with the client
*Respond to and resolve calls within a timely manner while ensuring a resolution is agreed with the client
*Ensure troubleshooting steps taken on all calls prior to escalating
*Ensure that any incident affecting the client is effectively dealt with and/or escalated where required
*Ensure that all service requests are resolved in a timely manner and that the client is satisfied with the service received
*Ensure all clients that visit the Service Desk area are assisted and have a call logged and progressed within the call logging system
*Ensure regular call updates to manage client expectations

The purpose of this role is to manage operational activities for the centre on conjunction with the line manager.


Key Responsibilities


Commerciality


• Assist with developing and maintaining a positive image of the building in its location
• To monitor all activities relating to the centre(s), reporting and taking action as appropriate

The Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, a newly-established research centre bringing together world-leading scientists to investigate how brain circuits process information to create neural representations and guide behaviour, is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Administration Manager to establish and manage an effective and efficient HR administration service for the Centre. The post is funded until 31 July 2019 in the first instance.


Duties include: appoint and line manage HR administration officers as necessary to meet service needs; manage staffing administration for the Centre, e.g. relating to recruitment, appraisal processes, end of contract procedures, etc; provide within HR administration an efficient and effective research student administration service; take responsibility for interpreting, communicating, implementing and ensuring compliance with UCL policies and procedures; lead on complex HR administration matters such as performance management, capability and long-term sickness; maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy, procedural and legislative changes relating to HR and student administration.

Specific Responsibilities:


  •  Consulting with internal stakeholders (e.g. Trainers, Team Leaders) on design and implementation to create high quality e-learning programs


  • Developing project plans and managing program research, providing regular project updates and ensuring timely completion of necessary activities during development and evaluation


  • Developing and maintaining new employee virtual training modules and programs


  • Identifying and reporting ongoing trends through 30/60/90 Agent Transfer data analysis of service and training issues and providing Training module recommendations based on analyzed results to Manager, eLearning Instructional Design and Trainer


  • Ensuring learning objectives and evaluation requirements per agent are met during each class conducted by gathering


  • completed tests, review of performance reports, and providing a summary report outlining each agent’s proficiency to predefined targets


  • Leading and coordinating post-training reviews to ensure that the solution meets all client, customer and stakeholder requirements as well as effectively engaging learners


  • Facilitating the sharing of knowledge, tools, processes and best practices among the team as well as lines of service for efficient and effective e-learn delivery, developing and maintaining strong knowledge of trends and issues with specific products and facilitating training workshops on e-learning technologies as necessary


  • Transitioning all new hires through on-boarding process, troubleshoot technology concerns during class, manage Adobe Connect layouts, polls, whiteboards, breakout rooms and chat pods during lessons, and generate engagement through moderating discussions on Roadside Homebase


  • Recommending new and enforces related systems and procedures; analyses within one week of completion of Remote Agent training class.

 
Qualifications
Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in:  Education or Social Science


  • 1 – 3 year Call Centre Experience considered an asset


  • 1 year of training and instructional design experience considered an asset


  • Knowledge of online authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, RoboHelp & ConnectPro) 



     

Additional Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of and proven experience with instructional design, content development and implementation of adult education training programs, along with a strong aptitude for technology.

– Responsible for understanding and effecting the nuances of each division’s policies/procedures/processes in a complex matrix organisation

– Answer questions on annual PDP document and process and ensure correct interpretation of divisional differences as employee and/or managers have questions
– Responsible for entering CWR’s/POI’s on the PeopleSoft system in a timely manner and maintenance of their records. Answer queries on time reporting for CWR’s/POI’s, system questions and process terminations as necessary
– Monitoring fixed term employees end dates and liaising with employee, manager or HRBP as necessary, issuing letters as appropriate for extensions/contract ends; liaising with new hire team for full time conversions
– Answering questions on overtime/time reporting, assisting with system navigation and keying data when required
– Provide assistance with the annual compensation cycle where necessary
– Responsible for keying all miscellaneous allowances e.g. First Aid/Fire Marshall, keeping PeopleSoft records up to date and ending allowances when necessary
– Responsible for keying mass data changes, mass uploads etc. as directed by HR/Payroll e.g. cost code changes/acquisitions


Person Specification:


– Understanding and experience in the use of HRIS systems, PeopleSoft preferred
– Educated to A-level or equivalent standard
– Numerate with strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
– Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the confidence to deal with all levels of staff including management
– Excellent customer service skills
– High level of accuracy and attention to detail
– Administrative/Customer Service experience, preferably in a large HR department
– Experience of working with confidential and sensitive data
– Ability to plan schedules and organise tasks according to priorities
– Knowledge of HR processes and terminology, with a basic understanding of employment law would be advantageous

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to support our team with the smooth running of the payroll department by providing a quality customer focused service.


As Payroll Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting the Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Officer to ensure that the monthly payroll is processed promptly and the salaries are paid on the due date.

  • Handling payroll queries and assisting with the input of all variable information received by the department.

  • Ensuring that a high quality and proactive service is provided to all internal and external customers.

In order to be successful in the role, the ideal candidates will need the following:


  • Experience of working in a Payroll function and of using a payroll provider to process payments.

  • An understanding of legislative requirements.

  • Experience of dealing with payroll from start to finish.

  • The ability to prioritise, manage time and work effectively to tight deadlines.
