F&I Manager (Finance Manager): MacMaster Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Ltd.


MacMaster Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Ltd. has an immediate opening for a qualified *Financial Services Manager.


Financial Services (F&I) Manager must practice strict legal compliance and ethical behaviour. He/she works in concert with the general manager to determine which lenders and suppliers of finance products will best be able to meet the criteria set by the Finance Department. The Financial Services (F&I) Consultant will review the customer’s credit application and credit report and discusses the available finance options to meet their needs. Then prepares the delivery documentation, including the preparation of the loan documents, licensing paperwork and other legal forms required by provincial and federal regulatory bodies. They will be responsible for disclosing to the customer all aspects of the sale, including finance charges and interest rates. The Financial Services (F&I) Consultant will provide products and services including extended warranties, service packages and insurance products that meet the needs of our clients. An essential element of this position will be to assist in the closing of sales, and maximizing up-selling opportunities.

What should you possess:


  • 3-5 years current experience in the automotive industry.


  • Excellent understanding of sales, finance and management.


  • Must possess a valid OMVIC license.


  • Experience and working relationship with financial institutions.


  • Proven record for performance with set goals.


  • Excellent Oral, Written & Listening skills.


  • Judgment and Decision Making Skills


  • Identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance


  • Efficient knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and use of the Internet.


  • Well-spoken and have the ability to speak clearly and confidently in all business settings.


  • Ability to read, understand and calculate banking figures such as; discounts, interest rates, percentages
