Artistic Design

At Exotic Garden Landscaping we create unique indoor and outdoor landscaping structures, well as floral plant frames, custom-designed to the client’s specifications. We are now looking to expand our services to include a new artistic design department, targeted at adding signature, creative works of art, such as designer candles, glassworks, and Arabic-style calligraphy arrangements, to compliment the existing designs.

As the artistic designer, you will be responsible for the following:

1. To create tailor-made designs, driven by the client’s needs and requirements, to enhance their landscaping experience;

2. The hiring and training of a new design team, as required, to successfully meet the needs of the new department;

3. To ensure that the artistic designs are unique, one-of-a-kind, and meet sufficient quality standards;

4. Manage day-to-day department activities, such as reporting, documentation, correspondence.

Basic Requirements:

• Candidate must be experienced in creative arts, and artistic designs, including crafts, hands-on artistic works, and conceptual designs;

• Candidate must have experience in working on rustic materials for unique creations, such as working with glass, candle wax, wood, copper, stone, ceramic, and other materials;

• Candidate must be skilled in creating original and unique designs, particularly in the field of Arabic and Middle Eastern art, calligraphy, Islamic style patterns, and Arabic style designs. Candidate will be required to demonstrate portfolio of original designs and ideas;

• Candidate will be required to work hands-on with clients and customers to create unique artistic pieces and originals works, to supplement the landscaping layout created for the client;

• Candidate must have adequate management skills, to oversee the hiring and training of new members of the artistic design department; we are looking for a team player, but also a team leader!

• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry;

• Candidate must have the flexibility to work on various job sites, indoors and outdoors;

• Candidate must be comfortable with participation and presentation in events and exhibitions, public speaking, and to be the artistic face of the company;

• Basic Microsoft office skills will be required.

• A bachelor’s degree in subjects involving business administration, marketing, event management, and other such areas is strongly preferred.
