ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER – EAST LONDON E2
***Opportunity to be funded for the ARLA qualification***
Up to £15,000 depending on experience and qualifications
My clients are a property management agency with a real difference as the tenant not the landlord is at the focus of their approach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into the property Industry. All properties are conveniently located close to transport links, are tastefully renovated and furnished, with all the mod-cons and fast broadband todays professional need. This is a unique opportunity to join these small but innovative market leaders who are thriving in the buoyant East London residential property sector.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a small but innovative and growing business in the buoyant London residential property sector. The business is both secure, since the income from owned properties is sufficient to ensure ongoing profitability; and dynamic, due to intentions to expand both the size of the existing core business, and the scope of services offered. The successful candidate will benefit from directing coaching from the company director who has a fantastic background in economics and law working for one of the top 4 accountancy firms as an economic consultant and now a property leader, successful property investor and entrepreneur.
How suitable am I?
Are you a personable & confident individual comfortable dealing with new people on a daily basis. This will involve a range of individuals whether tenants, tradesmen or the general public walking into the branch. Maturity is extremely important as on many occasions you will be the first point of contact in the business and need to manage this in a way to convey the business credibility and professionalism. Good IT skills are imperative to keep on top of email correspondence, scanning and saving documents together with using the in-house management database. Ultimately being self-motivated is essential as at times you will need to work unattended, and should still be able to make productive use of your time.
The role would suit someone with an interest in learning more about the property sector. This client is an end-to-end property investment, development, lettings and management agency. The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of property sector activities. There would also be an opportunity for funded study towards the industry standard qualifications provided by ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents), alongside the apprentice’s chosen NVQ qualification. Although not essential, and not a major element of the role, it would be an advantage if you have had the DIY skills of a “competent homeowner”. It would be a significant advantage if your skills exceed this, and are supported by appropriate experience and/ or qualifications in that area.
It would be an advantage if the candidate has a full UK driving licence, although this is not essential.
Hours: Mon – Fri: 10am-7pm; Sat: 11am-4pm flexible 40 hour working week
