A new opportunity has opened for a fee earner within the area of defendant claims to join a top 50 firm in London. The role itself covers defendant side litigation claims working for local and national level government in their interests and with their claims handlers. As such the work will involve pre-litigated and litigated work ranging from assaults through to false incarcerations. The role will suit a legal professional with strong advocacy skills and a proven fee earning background that has extensive experience in liaising with senior members of local government. In turn this is a chance to work with one of the leading law firms in a Legal 500 rated public sector legal team, which offers genuine chances for career progression and development. This role is ideally suited to a qualified Solicitor looking to specialise within defendant litigated work for the police, with a consistent and steady workload in place or an unqualified fee earner that is looking for further career progression routes.

Required Skills and Responsibilities;

– Experience in defendant pre-litigated and litigated matters for local government or the police.
– Able to liaise with senior members of local government on a variety of matters.
– Strong advocacy skills.
