Design and Technology Resistant Materials Teacher
An outstanding school in North London is seeking a Design and Technology Resistant Materials teacher to join their friendly department on a full time basis. The Salary is £27,000- £38,000 p/a or £140-£180 per day and this role is to commence in September 2016 and will continue until July 2016 with opportunity to go permanent for July 2017.
The school is a ‘good’ school and is over-subscribed. The school is going from strength to strength. The visionary principal, supported by a talented staff team, provide the highest quality teaching and leadership. Pupils have an exceptionally positive attitudes to learning. Standards in all years are excellent and all groups of pupils achieve results that are significantly ahead of their peers nationally.
Candidates must be capable of teaching Design and Technology from Key stage 3 to A-level. The ideal candidate will have QTS, good teaching references and experience, however NQTs are more than welcome to apply.
In order to apply for this position, you must:
– Provide 2 teaching references. These references must relate to teaching practice within the past 5 years. Referees must be Head Teachers or Heads of Department who can be contacted at work and in their professional capacities.
– Must hold a current work visa for the UK and be currently residing in the UK.
– Ideally you should hold a British DBS issued within the past 3 months or a DBS on the Update Service.
