SE Freight Systems Inc. is looking Dispatchers to join our Operations Team!

 

If you have past logistics experience and dispatch experience we are interested in you!

 
Dispatchers — 5 Immediate Openings!!!

Duties include:

• Communicate and dispatch  drivers ( truck, trailer information, seal numbers, ETA’s, delays) and ensure drivers are on time in meeting route delivery and pick up timelines



• Confirm loads have been delivered on time to meet customer timelines – continual system updates



• Answer incoming calls, handle general inquiries, and forward calls to the appropriate destinations



• Record customer route changes, messages and requests – forward to appropriate managers



• Ensure drivers are performing responsibilities in a safe, reliable and professional manner



• Record deliveries in the format as required by the customer



• Ensure driver schedules are adhered to daily and coverage is found for open routes



• Ensure drivers receive proper paperwork, assigned truck, trailer and route instructions



• Communicate road and weather delays to drivers to optimize delivery timelines

 
Job Requirements:

 

• Previous dispatch experience and experience with LMS and Stars systems is an asset



• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written skills  coupled with strong listening skills



• 1+ years’ experience in a dispatch position or customer service/call center experience—ability to handle a large call volume and multi task



• Strong computer, organizational and analytical skills



• Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers’



• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced team environment



• Impeccable organizational skills



• Strong interpersonal skills required



• High level of motivation and energy



• Available to work flexible hours as we are a 24/7 operations requiring dispatchers to work a variety of shifts including weekends, afternoons, and midnight shifts.
